How We Actually Started
Honestly, it began with frustration. Our founder, Finnegan Walsh, was consulting for a mid-sized manufacturing company in Melbourne. They had this gorgeous budget forecast that looked perfect on paper.
Three months in, everything was chaos. Raw material costs jumped, two key clients delayed payments, and their seasonal predictions were completely wrong. The budget became this useless document that nobody trusted.
That's when we realized the problem wasn't the numbers. It was teaching people how to build budgets that bend without breaking when real life happens.
We spent the next year developing training methods that focus on operational flexibility. Not just pretty charts, but practical systems that help teams adapt quickly when circumstances change. Because they always do.
